This is the last of. the pendants cut from the Muonionalusta meteorite that fell in Sweden in the eighteen hundreds. It has been shaped into a heart, coated in 18ct yellow gold and set behind convex glass that illuminates the meteorite and clearly shows the Widmanstatten lines that prove its extraterrestrial origin.
As it has been tested as one of the oldest meteorites found it is believed to have come from the Kuiper belt which is a band of asteroids that sit around the outside of our solar system. As it is also an iron meteorite it is believed that it could have been a heart of a planet which makes it even more appropriate that it is in the shape of a heart.
